From a very young age I have always had a love for animals and especially dogs, as most of us that love animals at that age do I dreamed of being a veterinarian until I realized how grim that can be at times. I always looked for a way into a career working with animals and was able to finally start grooming in February 2020 and trained at Petco to get my foot in the door with some basic knowledge under my belt. It wasn't long before I realized that the corporate grooming style wasn't how I wanted to work with the dogs in my care. Grooming can be stressful enough as it is that I decided I wanted to be able to work with every dog on a one on one basis and giving them all my attention while they were with me. I ventured out to work at Petazzled Pet Salon where I could do just that and also made house calls for awhile to cater to my clients needs while building a foundation to start my own business, Lap Dog Legends. When I had the opportunity to take over ownership of Grime to Shine I knew this is exactly what I had been looking for, a beautiful salon with amazing groomers.

Manager here in the salon with 20+ experience in the pet care industry DaLasa is an integral part of everything that we do. She is a mother and cheer coach outside of the salon making her a big part of the community as well. Always willing to learn more and continuting her education in the grooming industry any chance she gets.
